Being different means daring to break boundaries, think the unthinkable. We believe nothing is truly impossible – there’s always a way to make it happen.

Retractable leashes have been around for more than 50 years, and millions have been produced which all look nearly the same.

         
     

Is there really nothing to improve on? We didn’t think so.  

We noticed that most traditional retractable leashes had an unbalanced weight distribution and a handle that is too small for comfort.
What makes a perfect retractable leash? Firstly, it should offer a comfortable handholding experience. Secondly, it should protect the dog and human in the event of sudden jerking. Thirdly, it should have built-in lights, so that no torch is needed when walking your dog at night. After much trial and error, we came up with a product with all these features and more. 
   
To meet these targets is not easy. It requires us to think out of the box. After several months of thinking and discussion, we believe we find the answer:

  • A ring design offers a well balanced weight distribution, thus results a comfortable handholding experience. 
  • A replaceable bungee cord can sufficiently reduce the force during dog jerk, thus protect the dog’s neck and your wrist.
  • A built-in LED torch and ring light can illuminate up to 3m, thus you can see clearly during night walk. 
  

Our 1st-generation UFO leash launched in 2019 and has been enjoyed by tens of thousands of dog lovers. But that was just the beginning. We managed to successfully launch our 2nd generation model in 2020 after making over 30 improvements based on feedback from you, our customers.

In 2021, we launched the UFO Smart Version, allowing our users to monitor their health during dog walking. Our UFO Leash is now smoother, stronger, smarter than ever.

We pledge to continue to look at ordinary products from unusual angles, so we can make extraordinary improvements. There are no limits to what our team can do if we put our minds to it and keep ‘being different through design’.
